Art Courses and Holidays in the Spanish Sunshine

At Casa de Girasol in Southern Spain, you will find tailor made art courses and holidays, individually created to suit your previous art experience, cultural or leisure interests.

If you are travelling from other parts of Europe we assume you would prefer to stay in Spain for at least a week to give yourself time to relax and enjoy the arts, culture and fantastic scenery of inland Spain

There are two main differences in the type of courses offered; the first is a week of diverse workshops covering the art disciplines of sculpture, ceramics and printmaking the second option offers you a week of specialized tuition and experience which allows you to focus in your prefered area.

A Week of Fine Art Exploration

During a week of hands-on workshops you would learn new skills, indulge your creative mind and have an opportunity to explore stone carving, ceramics, Raku firing and mono printing techniques. The courses are very sociable and allow you to meet like minded people from all over Europe within a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.

These courses are running weekly until the end of July and then restart after the August fiestas; there are a maximum of seven people on each course some of whom attend only for half a day as they live in Spain and are present at the studio all year round.

These courses also include two days of flexibility to give you time to refine your art skills, arrange personal workshops, develop the previous worshops or explore the surrounding areas; this could consist of Health & Beauty pampering, yoga, hill walking, group or individual cycling, sightseeing or simply relaxing by the pool.
