Winged Head

This unique sculpture was inspired by the Cypriot tradition of placing a guiding angel to welcome visitors into many homes all over the island, the feathers are part of a new theme for Caron's carving and will be further developed in a series of unique carvings and figurative forms in ceramics and bronze.

The L'Almorqui limestone was naturally formed close to Caron's studio over 200 million years ago and is exported all around the world because of it's high quality.
